Just got sky hd+ installed, only one day later the hdmi connection on my samsung tv to sky hd box shows no signal.....now using scart...however the picture seems to jump/skip every few seconds.
Phoned sky, engineer book for Friday 26/02/10...so to be sure I am not fobbed off with any sky engineer jargon....has anyone else experienced these is issues.
If so what do I do??

in before they say faulty HMDI socket on the TV, what TV is it? you got a blu ray player or HDMI games console to plug in and see if it's the TV?

wouldnt be an amstrad hd box would it, seems to be alot of issues with picture quality if it is that box,

Its a samsung about 5 yrs old...strange thing is my divx player is also goosed when connected to hdmi socket....All was working fine before sky hd was installed.:x

yes its an amstrad, didn't get much of a chance to compare PC quality as hdmi packed in as soon as the engineer left the door...(well nearly)....its the picture skipping that's now doing ma head in:x

they will prob av a spare box on the van when they call on friday if they find its faulty in some way

Hope so, don't fancy shelling out for a new tv, that then makes the great sky hd deal, not so great for me.

Sky engineer replaced faulty box today....yeeeehaaaa:-D
