Hi
i was with sky for like 18 months.
I had sky and a month later took broadband.
Then i relaised the broadband speeds suck (was on max package) and i got constantly disconnected etc so i cancelled
they threatened me saying 12 months blah blah. 30 min argument with 3 staff i got my migration code which i forwarded and got my money back.

I cancelled sky in december 08.
But i just realised they were charging me the £10 for the internet yet they were not supposed to.
Even had they cancelled and charged me it should have been 12 months max but they overcharged me

I phoned them up and it seems i CAN ONLY WRITE to this department. That just SUCKS.

anyone know of a phone number? email address? or a quick resolution as i can see this taking months n months.

Write to them and keep a copy.

Send recorded so they have to sign for it.

Explain to them your greivance and that you want your money back or you will take legal action.

Give them 14 days to repay. Tell them that after that date you will be charging £10 per day interest on the debt they owe. Inform them that any correspondence and or telephone conversation generated because of non payment will be added to the debt at £50 a time.

Hi if you paid these charges by direct debit and they where taken in error then you have the right to ask you bank for them back as its in the direct debit guarantee. I had same problem but with tv licence i paid in full and they still kept taking it from my bank each month i did not recognise this until some 8 months later i contacted my bank and explained and within 3 days all moneys back in my account and the bank claim them back from the person being paid. Hope this is of some use to you.

yeh i was going to do that anyways.

somone said to take them into a small claims court. they will eventually pay the 60 quid it costs and ill get the 200ish back - just seems more hassle than its worth!

Send an E-mail or letter to Customer Relations usually does the trick considering that's their job and what advisor's oddly enough advise. :whistling:

Hmm they recently overcharged me £60 as I wanted a sky dish at my current place(im moving anyway now so dont need it) installation cost and forgot to refund it when the engineer couldnt do it then said I could only get a credit AFTER I paid the £60 or wait 2 weeks for a refund to be able to be processed then it takes another 4 weeks to be refunded.

Anyway to get it faster?
