Just got the Sky Mag this month and there's a letter printed with it
Says prices for Sky will be increasing August/September

1 pack will be £17.50 not £16.50 and so on, meaning 6 packs will be £22.50
Then from 1st January when VAT returns to the previous 17.5% it's another 50p a month

My 3 mixes now cost me £18.50, will be £20 soon
Not much but all adds up i guess.....

Sorry it posted before

Best thing that could happen to the UK pay TV market is for ofcom to force sky to allow wholesale access to its services. Much as it has done to BT in the telecoms market

You need pne of these!

Did you get someone round to check? I was in a similar position with growing trees in a neighbours garden - but sorted it by buying another dish and fitting it above gutter height!

Changing the subject..... need to pick your brains about internet connection problems. I use Bethere...... and for the past few months, keep getting drop outs. My modem indicates I'm connected, but the computer says no! I've tried 3 different modems - and they're sending another to me. I dont think it will make any difference. Whats the best way of checking the exchange is up to the job? (I need to have a permanent reliable connection! - they have reduced my line speed twice now - and no improvement. Its pretty intermittent - on and off when it feels like it.)

Ok no worries.

Yeh, the lights are on and it shows I am connected. When this happens, I cant even access the modem - which kinda says the fault is the modem - but are they that unreliable?

When I've had the problem - Be have been able to access remotely - but at other times haven't.

Ive set it up, so I can access remotely. I checked today at about 8am from my phone. No connection. Still no connection when I came home. A reboot sorts it...... until the next time.
