Sky refer a friend rewards

Just wondering if anyone has actually received these before?

I am due £50 m+s vouchers for the latest refer a friend scheme (the friend gets free sky+ and installation, you get £50 m+s vouchers one) which I did with someone from HUKD (Havent managed to find someone else to use other voucher yet!)

Never done the refer a friend thing before and was surprised that the number they tell you to call is nothing to do with sky, and just pass the details on to sky who tell them whether or not they are correct. Is this normal???

Am hoping to get the vouchers in time for christmas sales (and hoping to find someone to use the other code before friday so that I get another £50!)

I must admit I don't refer friends - I tell them about Quidco & then they give me some of the money that they make from applying online via Quidco (currently £110?).

My gf has just referred both her mum and sister for these vouchers. then saw an ad for a sky+ box. ah well lol. My gf did it via email though and not by phone. hopefully wont have to wait too long to get them. i want to cancel, or at least threaten to for a sky+ box.

Quidco is better than the usual £50 of vouchers each deal - but this deal was (and still is - ends friday) free installation and sky+ box for friend and £50 vouchers for you, which is worth more than quidco

Plus, I did it with someone from HUKD (everyone I know already has sky!) Still have to get rid of the other code!

If you are not in contract then try - I did and got free sky+ box (new one, not refurb) and installation

Say you are working shifts and miss all your fav programmes, but havent got the £££ at the moment to upgrade to sky+ so there is no point in having sky.

They should offer it to you for £49, say thats really nice (and accept if you want) and you'd love to take it, but with christmas coming up you cant - should get it free

If not, call back - depends who you speak to

well, i was going to get her to phone to cancel, and to really want to go through with. too expensive, the picture comes and goes. stupid box plays up. if i wiggle the scart lead just a little the picture goes nuts. and it does it often when i dont touch it. if i dont get sky+ free, i will have her cancel and i will take sky in my name instead lol.

Yup, our box was playing up a bit - thats what gave me the push to try it

Anyone had them???

I did the refer a friend and get £50 of M & S vouchers last October. Yes, I did get them, BUT (and there's always one :-D ) what they don't advertise is it's done through a marketing department and the department haven't always got the vouchers in stock so you have to wait until they get some more in and clear the backlog and then maybe get some more in and work their way down the outstanding list like that. Took about 3 months to get mine in the end.

thanks for the info - glad I asked as otherwise I would have been wondering where they were

I'm due to get some (if the 28 days period is to be believed) within the next week or so - but I won't hold my breath!

I refered my parents back in the beginning of September and we're both still waiting for our £50 M&S vouchers... it's pretty frustrating, especially when told "28 days" on the phone. Just hoping we get them for the post-Xmas sales now.
