Hi, don't know if everyone knows this already but I noticed that Sky Sports are now streaming their Box Office events on PC/laptop/NOW TV box. There is a Sky Sports Box Office app in the App Store on the NOW TV box.

Info: http://www.skysports.com/golovkin-vs-brook/news/34037/10571354/1

To watch the stream on your PC, laptop and NOW TV box simply go to http://www.skysports.com/boxofficelive and book now. (UK & ROI only and please note, customers who buy the fight via this link cannot watch on their set-top box, excluding NOW TV).

£16.95 for the event, so the same price as Box Office on your Sky set-top box.

Just in time for the Brook fight and a better option for me than Kodi where despite having fibre, streams for me are less than SD quality, buffer really badly or cut out after a short while then wont reconnect.

I wouldn't think so. I've watched a few footy games on my box but they don't look full HD to me. I think the box office events will be the same.

Just found an FAQ http://www.skysports.com/terms-and-conditions/12930/10539101/FAQs and it says minimum requirements are 2.5Mbps download so 99.9% sure it wont be 1080p

Probably SD then as you say at those speeds. But at least the option is there for people I guess, personally wouldnt want to pay full price to stream it. I mean, your internet could go down for starters X)

Agree it is pricey for streaming but at least it's an option now for those without a Sky subscription. I think I'll try it out tomorrow as it cant be any worse that what I get off Kodi. I'll tell the wife a couple of days before she checks the monthly statements though :)

Is this the first box office event they are doing it for? I remember a while back and I think it was sky go went down on the last day of the season (also affecting NowTV) when City pipped united. They were not expecting so much capacity and it wasn't back up until hours after it had all finished. Now Tv customers got some compensation but nothing if you were watching on Sky go :(

I'm sure that won't happen again though.

I think it could be. I've never read or heard about the service coming to NOW TV until today and a quick search on HUKD and the NOW TV community didn't bring up anything. I would have thought they would have put more effort into advertising it.

Does anyone know when I can book a box office event? I want to watch the Joshua v Molina fight on Sat and it's still not available. Will it only be available to book on the day does anyone know?

The booking process looks a bit different this time. The FAQ page has this info:

What devices or platforms can I watch this fight on?
Either via your PC/Desktop through http://www.skysports.com/boxofficelive or through the Sky Sports Box Office app on your NOW TV box.

Who can sign up?
Anyone aged 18 or over living in the UK (including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and Republic of Ireland.

How can I sign up?
Create an account at http://www.skysports.com/boxofficelive
Once an account has been created and you've subscribed, you can select to view the fight through the web player on skysports.com or use the same login details (E-mail address and password) to view via the Sky Sports Box Office app on your NOW TV box.

I would have tried this myself but I'm out all day Saturday so will miss it.

Hmm, just tried the link in the FAQ and it says no upcoming fights available to book at the moment but the FAQ list the entire card for Saturday. Might be worth emailing the support team (email address in FAQ) to find out if it's definitely on the NowTV app.
