Sky TV Deals?

  I was with them for 2 years. Only on the basic package. I used to ge the half price deal and it was applied each time it ran out. At xmas i phoned them and they told me to ring back after xmas. I did then was told no more discounts could be given so I cancelled. They phoned me back a week later offering me the half price deal. I said i would think about it. They phoned back a week later and offered it me free for 6 months. I told them to phone back later as was in the middle of doing something, and have yet to recieve the call.
  
  I think it will depend on who takes the call when you phone. The family dont seem to have missed it. I am happy to save the £20 a month and put it toward something else. Good luck either way.

  ive just had a letter asking me to come back to sky,and they,ll give me the full package for 75% off for 12 months,in no hurry as im waiting for them to give me hd and multiroom half price too,then i might concider it

  £22.50 a month hd entertainment sports and movies
  or
  23.50 to include the kids , music , documentary channels

  cause i moved address had to pay £60 installation but was happy with that

  Best I could get was free Line Rental for the year with half price broadband, but I do not subscribe to movies etc.
  
  I was really happy with that - I think it pays to be persistent, but sometimes it depends how many offers they have already give you etc.

  thanks guys, current package is half price full package + £10 for HD (37 ish a month), this is the 3rd half price 6 months after the 12 months half price that was signed up to originally lol.
  
  I've cancelled as they cannot offer me anything at the moment, will wait for a call back from the "sorry to hear you're leaving" team. if not, oh well..

  I cancelled and a month later got a letter offering the full package(movies ,sport etc) for £16 a month plus I had to take HD at £10 month
  so total £26 month for everything plus I got £50 credit and no contract.

  I cancelled my virgin as it was costing about £500 a year and just use built in freeview. Unless u watch sports or movies regular I think this is a good option as the saving speaks for itself.

  I got free line rental, free broadband and 1/2 price full tv package for 9 month now that's a deal.
