Sleep walking/talking... do you do either?

I do, mainly sleep talk and do silly things in my sleep. I normally find it amusing when the other half tells me the next morning about what i done the night before but she is starting to lose her patience with it all as she is losing out on her sleep due to it.
I used to find i mainly done it when sleeping in a differant place other than home or when i was stressed about something but now ,although it sounds silly, it also seems to be after my late night sessions on the playstation.
I'am going to cut down on the use of the use of the playstation but is anybody aware of any ohter cures for sleep talking at all?

Do it in the night and sometimes when woken up i'll say something extremely random which may have been relevant to the dream that was interrupted, will say it a couple of times wondering why they don't understand what i'm talking about then realise what i'm saying makes no sense at all

no the gf has been known to jump up and spout random nonsense though.......and also in her sleep:)

I have full on night terrors - scares the living crap out of my wife.

Once woke up with my knuckles covered in blood, wife said i woke up and got angry at the wall..

Although mostly she just sees this naked man running through the house, uttering nonsense and then falling back to sleep within 5 seconds.

Shes used to it now though :)

First time it happened - she didnt know i did it.. We were sleeping in a caravan outside my uncles.. Pitch black.. lol.. She said it was the most frightening experience.. Why she married me i'll never know

No but apparently I sometimes sleep with my eyes open.....

I would definitely say cut down on the PS3 as I've noticed my bf does this annoying foot rubbing thing when he has been playing xbox cos he gets stressed

Shamefully I giggled at his comment, I thought it was quite witty for once.

I sleeptalk, often wake up from a bad dream crying-think people die in my dreams lol.

My ex used to sleeptalk when he'd been drinking-even a drop. He would be wide awake and talking to me-I was adamant he was aware of it, but the next day would have no memory at all of it.

I sleep talk... apparently!! Favourites have been:
"HAVE WE GOT ANY PASTA????? YES?? That's all I need to know".
"Look... Do you want this banana or not?"
Me: "Turn over" Him: "Why"? Me: "Well because I want to turn over, obviously. You prick"!

I often dream that there are thousands of spiders all over the place and end up jumping out of bed screaming. Always a nice wake up for him.

my boy sleepwalks thank god( he got encephalitis and meningitis and if he had not sleepwalk and woke me up we would have lost him in his sleep) so yes its a pain putting him back to bed some nights but each time i thank my lucky stars that he does sleepwalk

Is anybody aware of anyway to stop sleep walking/talking? or is it just some thing i have to deal with?

I used to sleepwalk and sleeptalk a lot as a child, going so far as trying to leave the house on a number of occasions. I never made it, thankfully, otherwise some kiddy-fiddler would have thought it was his/her birthday.

I don't sleepwalk as such now, but I apparently still sleeptalk from time to time. I do keep having the same recurring dream that blurs over into reality. I often wake up, thinking I have to get out of my bed and leave because it's not my own. I start to get dressed and then I usually realise I was only dreaming. This has happened at least ten times and the furthest I got was getting fully dressed and making my way down the stairs before I realised.

There's another one I've had, but this has happened only 3 times. I dream that on the wall beside my bed is a big metal panel, which has been removed to reveal a bunch of old rusty pipes with all manner of insects/bugs crawling over them, such as cockroaches.

Asides from that, there are a few other things like I will often wake up to find myself sat upright in my bed.

Very funny blog of a man who sleeptalks every night, written by his wife who tapes him. Always good for a laugh and well worth a look.
