Why pay some smug person on a weekly basis to tell you what you are already aware of?

Change your diet and excercising habits. Only way for it.

Slimming world works a treat for me, after my 3rd baby I was into the size 16's, within 8 months I had lost 4.5 st and gone from 16- size 10's
It did take the diet plus gym to achieve what I fully wanted though from the diet. Zumba is the best fitness class to burn away the fat
It really is a good diet, Tried the others and just cant get on with it.

Its worth getting the Bella mag to try out SW for £4.95 x

thanks - more the advice I was after. DO you know how easy it is to follow- i've not got time for weighing food etc. also do i get the books needed etc to follow on the 1st week. Was hoping to go to get the books to start then follow at home? thanks

We all know what we should and shouldnt do, but getting that motivation is usually the problem - I joined Slimming World 4 weeks ago - its £4.95 / week and I've lost almost a stone - over Christmas, New Year and my birthday ! I did begrudge forking out the cash every week which is why I'd never done it before, but the support you get is invaluable, classes are so friendly and the advice is there for the asking - we worked out how to have fun over the holidays, eat pretty much what we wanted but be sensible and keep the weight loss going - and it worked, even though I ate my chocolates, drank my wine and had a great time ! Go for it - what have you got to lose except weight ??! :D

Slimming clubs only work while you keep going. If you're willing to commit for the rest of you life then it works. I lost 6 stone in a year at slimming world, then when I left it all came back on.
If you don't have a huge amount to lose, try a couple of small 'permanent' changes that you know you can stick to.

Yes you get everything you need on the 1st week. Just go for £4.95 listen to everything they say as it makes it easier if you kind of understand what you are doing, then weigh. But if you are planning on doing it alone at home, also weigh the 1st week at home too, so you know the next weigh in at home is true.

Its really easy to work this diet. Hardly any weighing now they have a plan called Extra Easy. Only have to weigh your cheese and cereal on Extra easy, Plus measure your milk. Thats it. You can eat, pasta, rice, meats, potatoes, fruits veg all together without weighing. Its just finding the right balance to help you lose weight.

a fiver a week?

but then if that £5 isnt spent on a slimming class it will more than likely be spent on more treats for the house!
