The hoodia based ones that are supposed to work are addictive so just be careful with them.

Personally I wouldn't take them as I think most of them are just placeboes-

Be careful! :)

lecithin from Hollands and barrets is supposed to work a treat. You sprinkle it on your cereal like sugar!

As JB suggegts, be careful though, it might be worth consulting your doctor, they have a vast knowledge and increased amount of medicines or tablets available to them

all weight loss tablets is raise your body temp, resulting is more caliores being burned as it hotter inside your body.

Waste of money IMO because you dont lose much cals anyway.

Harvie's right, you'll lose more calories by adding 20 mins exercise a day and cutting down on fatty foods.

If you're trying to slim, start pilates as it tones your core muscles. A brisk walk or swim every day will help burn off the fat, drink loads of water to flush foods through you system, cut down on fatty foods.... it's really about a lifestyle change than a quick fix.

I tried Adios (shameful I know lol!) and they were Gash! Just made me **** more!

However, I read an article about a thing called Coffee Slender, which is a Fat Burner that tastes like Coffee and you have after you eat!

Worth a try maybe?

Ps - as people have said, it's a combination of eating right and exercising that will benefit you long term!

Or why not just eat healthy and do regular exercise?

slimming pill won't keep your weight down in the long term, you need to find a diet plan that you can live with.

it takes more effort but is far better for your health.
i've finally joined a slimming club and lost over 2 stone in 3 months. even though i'm happy with the result i'll keep going to groups so i don't slip into bad habits again. good luck

You lot are a miserable bunch, let them slim with pills if they want.

My tip, just swallow anything that says 'Do not eat'.

if you are overweight try your doctor, they should help you I got reductil they make you not feel hungry. They really work but you become constipated after a while. but worth it in the end.

You used to be able to buy them online but they are really expensive summat like £100 for 3 months worth

Reductil are prescription only, so only via nurse or doctor. Sure they might be avaialble online, just like Viagra....just don't expect them to work, they will just be shaped chalk.

The only side effect of exercise and eating less is losing weight...once you have got through the pain barrier. It is not about dieting...just changing your eating habits gradually. Small changes have the biggest impact.

2day ive started my diet

1) drinking nothing but water
2) speacial k for breakfast/lunch
3) healthy dinner

the things that i find hardest is

1) finding time to excersise ( i look after my one year old all day)
2) i get bad cravings (i got to admit im take slimming tablets 2)

i was wondering if i say got a bike and done 30 mins cycling a day is that classed as a good amount of excersise (as its the only thing i can really do with my son cos i can put him on a seat on the back of the bike)

does anyone no any sites to get cheap deals on bikes, there did use to be one that had a buy one get one free offer but some said they were so slow in delivery etc

Even if you put your little one in his pushchair and go for a brisk walk for half an hour, that works!! That's all I do with my two (1 & 3) and I try and go for a run once or twice a week if I can get a babysitter :)

Don't put too much pressure on yourself hun, and don't starve yourself- doing the cereal for breakfast/lunch is more like a quick fix hun, once you go back to eating normally you'll put weigh back on.

When I was trying to lose baby weight I bought the Charlie Brooks DVD, it does a good workout, some dance, body combat, high impact and pilates- I'd recommend that :)

If you are going the healthy route any way (exercise and good diet) I'd seriously recommend ditching the pills, at the best they will help you lose weight quicker (and that's at best, because about 99.9% of 'slimming pills' do buggar all) but result in you piling the weight back on as soon as you come off them. At worst you'll get addicted/mess up your body/be poorer/not lose any additional weight and still pile weight on when you stop taking them.

Guys. Got a tip for you.

Drink plenty of water. Not only is it good for you but it also helps you lose weight as alot of the time, you're body gets thirst and hunger mixed up and you end up eating thinking you're hungry when your just thirsty.

Also drink ice cold water. This is because your body burns more calories warming up the water in your body system.

My advice is better than slimming pills

And having a glass of ice cold water before a meal makes your stomach contract so you get fuller quicker :)

My top tip would be porridge, I have some golden syrup stuff that is lovely and sweet so satisfies me when I am craving sweet stuff, but it's really low in calories (like 170 for a big bowl!) and fills you up like you wouldn't believe :)

Chitosan........but not if you're allergic to shellfish.

Buy the US stuff (not the cheap **** here).............I can personally vouch for it.
