Planning a do in the village hall but they won't let us use Tea Lights. Fire Regulations etc so can't have any sort of naked flame.

Is there anything similar thats battery operated. Not needing them to create light to see by just to create more of an atmosphere.

Will only be used once so the cheaper the better. Will need about 10.

i got these from ebay

and they are fantastic. they are the same size as stnd tea lights, just LEDs with flicker flame effect.

Quite a few places do led tea-lights which would do the job. I seem to remember Poundland (or Poundworld) did them in packs of 4.

Slightly more expensive would be Wilkinsons who also did the packs for about £3-5.

Just found some on ebay:

led tea lights

£1 each not so bad delivered.

edit: Oh, for G*ds sake - not allowed to put ebay in a link now - just swap the stars in the link for the 'auction site' we all know.
