Has he been to the doctor's about it?

Does he smoke?

theres:

divorce, murder, poking your eardrums out, illegal drugs (for you), sleeping in the spare room
a CPAP machine from your doctor

put one of your bra's on him back to front with a golf ball in each cup - stop him lying on his back...........................well thats the advice the doc gave to my husband!!!!!!!!!!! honestly did.

In the end those nasal strips helped a little bit!

Never mind the doctors he will need an ambulance if he keeps it up lol. No he hasn't and no he doesn't smoke, but he has had a couple of drinks tonight which always makes it worse!

Pillow over face is bit extreme

Maybe just shove a cushion up each nostril :p

i find these usually work

a slap on the forehead, and then pretend to be asleep

a good elbow nudge followed by an abusive swear word

if i have problems sleeping because of noisy neighbours, just having the radio on quietly in the bedroom helps to take my attention away from planning to assassinate them !! suprising how quick i can drift of to sleep when i do this as i can focus on something less in my face..... hope it helps.

The only thing that seemed to work was when my hubby lost alot of weight, virtually stopped, and god doesn't the beer make it worse!

After years of enduring my OH's snoring, and after him having tried all the off the shelf products, he finally had a couple of operations to open his airwaves and to snip off the flap of skin at the back of his throat. Peace, it was wonderful .......................... for a full 6 months and then he started again even worse than before. He can snore on his back, side, front and even sitting up!!! CPAP doesn't work either cos that needs him to keep his mouth shut, and he can't so have the noise of the machine and his snoring.

So, the only solution is ............................ he now works away 5 nights a week, and I have industrial strength earplugs for the other 2, works a treat too, lol

Aw thanks, it does have its advantages though, I have full control of the Remote for 5 full nights and I can please myself as to what to cook each night

I do feel for the OP though, I know how frustrating it can get and have spent many a night downstairs cos his never ending snoring keeps me awake. It was sometimes soo bad I felt like crying, so I do know what your going through.

My fella has an hospital appointment tomorrow regarding a growth in his palate.

He has had it since december, hopefully once that is removed and he gives up smoking things will be better.

It can be very frustrating when you are tired.

Hope you are well x x

I can sleep loads very easily.

I have been very worried about him, I can't wait to find out what it is and how big it is and when he will be having an operation to remove it x x

Block his nose completely so he is forced to breath through his mouth, or the other way around, I forget :-D

Possible sideeffects : Death through suffication, which will also cure it I suppose
