My daughter started senior school yesterday she was so emotional i thought about not sending her, she came home raving about the place and really enjoyed the bus ride. I worried about her all day.

my son laid on bed with me this morning and asked if he could have the day off lol i'm fotunate that my eldest son is in the last year of school at the same school so he has taken him and will no doubt look after him for the first day or so ( or at least thats what i've told him to do)

I remember my first day, walking around a massive building with what seemed like giants looking down on you, We was all given a school map, i tried to figure out how to understand the map and the labeling of the school "A Block" "B Block" etc, After walking into what seemed like every class and being humiliated in front of everyone for getting it rong, burst in tears and eventually asked a teacher to show me where to go. i finally ended up in my correct class, I had to walk in my lesson late. :-(

Your son will be fine :-D xx

My son started high school today too, I am worried sick, although he seemed to be looking forward to it. Usually he hates school and gets all stressed before going back but he was fine today. Lie OP I have asked (ordered/bribed) his elder sister (and all her friends to keep an eye on him)

My youngest son went into yr1 today and he seemed completely lost, they were all looked after when they were in reception but this year they are expected to cope without help. I wanted to bring him back home again:oops:

My youngest daughter starts nursery in couple of weeks and I think I will be very tearful then.

Same story here MB, my lil un is 3 and started preschool today. She went in her sister's uniform too. Actually I felt sorry for her cos I wanted to buy her atleast 1 set of new uniform cos they're expensive, a skirt at £35, coat £90:x and we have loads of her sister's left too. I didn't find time so far and their uniform shop opens only 2 mornings/ week. Must go this weekend.

But she was so excited and happy and didn't take a second look at me when I dropped her in her classroom.:)
