I was just thinking, i know HUKD get a percentage of money when someone from HUKD buys something through one of the links on the deals section, so is the Admin like mega rich and is now sipping coctails in his $2.4 million dollar mansion?

The percentage varies from store to store, but with over 130,000 members plus probably ten fold that who just lurk, it all adds up to a pretty penny. I think you need to revise it to several $2.4M mansions!

But hey, so what?

i don't see a problem, not like they hide the fact they make money from the links

sites of this size need a dedicated server (£125+ a month) then the vbulletin software is upto £40 a year

i always go through a cashback site so doesn't matter to me that the site makes money

its either this way or they have huge flashing adverts, with porn in ..... which you prefer?

Go to Companies House website. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk
Search the register for HUKDs.
You can then download a copy of the accounts.
You will find a figure for net profit in the Profit & Loss account.

i dont think its bad business either: showing people deals and making themselves money, whilst saving others money!

quidco is the company owned by the owner of hukd, but hukd isnt registered as a business, that i know of, they are seperate ventures...

Not quite. Admin has a share in Quidco - not the outright owner.
