Fave bit for me was the mess hall scene, Stephen Lang's character talking to the recruits about the Na'vi being tough as hell, was like i was looking into a large window and not at a screen. The jungle was also very beautiful to look at.

As for the few people ive heard say the cgi in the teaser as non groundbreaking, it has to be seen in 3D and after a few mins you forget it is cgi and you do really feel like your there and im not sure there is another film out, or coming out that is like it. I just hope people dont focus purely on cgi , thinking that's the main selling point. It really isnt. The Na'vi were believable, and yes you can tell it's CGI, I was however accepting them as fully realized characters.

The 3D is great, subtle but effective, it draws you in, non-distracting whatsoever. You notice the CGI characters have actually MASS, instead hollow CGI puppets jumping and bouncing around.

I was completely transported in this 'world'.

Polarized type.

I would never see a film in red and blue. Taints the picture and with these, no colour loss.

ive never seen a 3d film with polarized glasses before. Cinemas near me are getting 3d in december (and a new imax) so will hopefully get them in time to see Avatar.

Was on last night at the renfrew st Cineworld in Glasgow and was pretty amazing, as said the mess hall scene was superb , very real looking, only thing was strained my eyes slightly watching it, quite contrasty.

i noticed the strain on my eyes more when you were looking at other places that were out of focus...if that makes sense :) but it was pretty amazing, it was also the first 3d film/preview I've ever seen, and i will most definently go again!

seen the trailor and although it does look pretty, it gives me the feel of it being just cut away scenes from a rather impressive 360 or ps3 game not a blockbuster movie but I'll certainly give it a whirl when it comes out.
