i made a best offer on eBay which was accepted and as the item is in my home town i decided to pay cash on collection as the seller has allowed this option. However it has been 4 days since and Despite contacting the seller for a pick up address I have had no response from him/her.

Now I don't want to buy the item because it was needed asap at the time of purchase and also I have found a better deal on a similar item which I can pick up today.

What would happen if i don't complete the sale due to seller wasting time? (All contact was made via eBay messaging so I have proof I tried to complete the purchase)

Thanks in advance for any help.

they will just file a non payers dispute in which you will get a strike which is nothing.. tbh

Nothing will happen. If you do get a non-paying strike, theres a good chance you could appeal and win if the seller hasn't responded.
You can always leave him neg feedback for poor communication. :whistling:

Go with the best deal you can get,
