I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. If it was something like the fact that the square root of 25 is 5 or -5 then I'd agree but I really though all people understood negative numbers.

well, Tesco Jersey seem to think 'not in stock' should be replaced by 'in stock' as often as possible...

But no, I don't think Camelot are wrong. I teach Primary School children so you'd better hope I know how negative numbers work ;) anyone with an overdraft should really!

I have to say I think some of the comments calling people 'stupid' are a bit harsh, I was rather alarmed by the numeracy figures quoted in the article.

Well I know where it originates and its got F all to do with designer trackies or baseball caps:roll:

Just reading that article and was thinking that some people on here with a -100 deal might have the impression that their deal is better than somebody with a -20 deal :lol:
