Well only Amazon is cheaper than that.
And i think a lot of buyers don't use price comparison sites or deal sites to become aware of the cheaper prices online.

eBay is cheaper for a lot of things though.....i remember there was a lexmark all in one super printer in here, got a lot of heat @ £89.99...

the same printer was on eBay new, from a company, not a private seller, @ £69.99 and he was selling like 70 a day!

some people dont know about play and amazon ect they know about ebay and pay the price they think is worth it.... it's a shame but i can see it from their point of view too... i've paid a little extra sometimes so i can get it from a shop i can trust and have used before

That deal is very very hot at a nice 8 degrees

many people have money in their paypal account from things they have sold on ebay so it is just easier to buy other things from ebay than move the money around,

Never heard of auction fever OP?

Some people loose all common sense on ebay and in real auctions.

The're also the same on play.com.

A potential buyer sent me this nice message:

Message:
You're an idiot. The white edition was only worth £60 new, and you're sellin git for almost £100 'slightly damaged'?! FOOL!

So I sent back:

Yep,

What's wrong with that, you buy it for £60 then if you can find it,
Mine is the cheapest on play at time of listing, and others are selling it for way higher.

It's only the box that is slightly squashed during transit, everything else is as new

Have a nice day
Regards.

Ps. I'm not the idiot ;-) But your comment made me chuckle

And guess what?............ I sold it this morning.
I feel like e-mailing him again, but I ain't that way inclined:w00t::thumbsup:

That is why my friends, we use the internet to our advantage!

If you see it on on eBay, see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere.
If you find it elsewhere, check on eBay.

Compare everything!

We have the power!

i've seen this a few times with bikes, sell more secondhand than new,
they must just get carried away or put in a high bid as there highest not thinking it would go that high and the seller intertrading:?:

Lol! we sold our old Sky+ box on ebay when we upgraded to Sky+HD a few years ago.

We paid £49 for the hd box and sold the Sky+ box for £150!

The funny thing was the sky+ boxes were only £99 at the time anyway!
