Some people that accuse others of selling fake goods

Today i receive a rather nasty PM from a member regarding a Genuine acer laptop PSU that i sold a couple of months back stating she was reporting me for selling a fake PSU and claiming that she had PMed me regarding it before (which she hadn't), Whats annoyed me is the fact that the Acer PSU is a 100% genuine Acer PSU made by if i remember rightly liteon this member seems to think its fake even though its from my old genuine acer laptop. I also have another acer laptop with the exact same PSU.

I don't know whats going on in her mind but shes imagined mailing me about it and she also some how thinks its fake why this is is beyond me when it only has one molded plug which is the exact one for the laptops i stated i think she thinks Acer makes its own PSU's and a fake why sell a fake when you can buy one that will work from Aldi for £20 and whats fake about it? is it a fake liteon supply and if it is someone better give me acers number because they must supply fake oem parts. Did i mention that i charged her £11 or £13 for it and i sent it first class recorded delivery

What i want from this thread is for other acer owners to post what make there power supply is and if possible a picture of it so some idiot doesn't destroy my good name.

If you are being harrassed by other users then you should report them so the mods can deal with them.

Perhaps there is confusion 'cos this ^^^^^^^^^^ picture is different from the one in your for sale ad.
Which is the right one?

it looks like the confusion comes from you not taking a pic and putting an acer chager with the acer logo on in yur ad then sending one with just liteon on it? it seems liteon make them fom what i can see on amazon etc...but one without the acer logo on it is around £10 delivered so she probably feels shes been stitched up.
If thats the case and its the wrong pic you have mis-sold it and shes entitled to complain.

oh and your ad was 3weeks 6days ago the one you actually sold.

Shoulda used your own pic. Anyway just ignore them.

Did you supply the PSU that came with the laptop or the replacement? If you supplied the original then you haven't really done anything wrong - but its worth taking and using photos of the actual item you are selling so there is no confusion/dispute later.

It doesn't sound like it is a fake though? There is a big difference between not receiving the identical thing as in the picture and receiving a 'fake' model... Have you got a picture of the one you received?

polly69, if you used a stock image that showed an Acer logo that isn't on the actual product then unfortunately the problem is with your description.
(13) Goods remain the responsibility of the seller until the buyer takes possession and affirms they are okay. For this reason be honest in your descriptions and include original photos so the buyer knows what they are getting!

It may be a case that is its a genuine product, but as highlighted above they may retail for slightly less without the acer logo, and the buyer could have based their valuation of the goods on that potentially.

Also summerof0763, if there was a problem it should really have been reported 3 weeks ago as an issue.

I would advise reaching a compromise on this matter. Possibly a reduction in the agreed price or a refund. This is a private sale and the parties should discuss the matter directly & not on the public forums. Part of the sales feedback process is finding a joint resolution when there has been an issue & subsequently reaching an agreement on the matter.
