I want to drive to London for the day on a Saturday. Train and coach work out too expensive for all of us. Can anyone recommend somewhere reasonably priced to park for the day please?

Really visiting all the very central areas - Hamleys, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, etc.

We will be coming down the M4 and wondered if you could park free or cheaply at any of the tube stations?

We will want to park for the whole day, say from 10am til 5pm

you can park at Hounslow West and then take a london tube day pass. parking in Hounslow West is free and there is ample parking.

Another option to park for £1.00 for a day is Wempley Park Station.

Hope this helps

Great, thanks for the info - now to find out where that is!

You could always go to Victoria and park around the corner from the station. Parking in most roads near the station on a Saturday is free, you'll be down the road from Buckingham Palace then and not too far from Hamleys. You could always get a one day travel card or one day bus pass!
