hey guys any other parents out their at the moment whose kiddies start school, i am so emotional over it, i feel like i did a few years back when i had to leave him in nursery to go back to work. i got made redundant in march and have loved the time i have had to spend with him, and now he has to leave me and go to school, i so know i will cry on his first day.

ok just read that back and i sound like a mum that cannot let go i am not, i guess my baby not a baby anymore.

Aw bless; no; I'm a Dad to a toddler and I work from home a lot on various projects and I love it cos I can see my boy whenever I/he likes; so I am not looking forward to him going to nursery let alone school. But it's just one of them things, so I'm sure you'll be dead proud (and upset) on his first day at school.

i am a great believer in nursery (i wasnt when i had to go back to work lol) but it does them great, however i think its the fact that nursery not compulsary and school is, ok so now i am thinking about becoming a morning cleaner 9-11 then a dinner lady 12-1 then maybe afternoon cleaner 2-3 PERFECT lmao

awww op it is natural you'll dread your lil one being away from you for that long but remember he will need you to feel happy and confident about him starting school or he will pick up on the vibes you send to him and feel scared xx

I work in F/S 2 and its as bad reassuring mums-dont worry its all normal feelings, we do look after them.We want your child to feel happy and secure at school too.I do remember the feeling though and this year my baby starts uni :(

Once children have settled in most schools welcome 'parent helpers'

I used to wait till my lil ones were inside the school classroom and id be smiling and waving them off and then soon as they couldnt see i'd be blubbing and crying for em lol
