It is a good idea if you've done something wrong and think you can run fast.

Running is always the best option

" Retreat is always an option" Jean Luc Picard ( lol )

Nah, if you're caught and you're caught good, this will just add resisting arrest to anything else they can find to do you with.

Actually im on my phone, well, it was me and 3 other lads, we were messin about at 3am in the morning and i had my green laser out and shining it everywhere, and into this hotel, which has been gettting robbed lots recently, so the security guy was a bit touchy. so we was driving round, and went into the hotel car park, and did donuts round the roundabout this (lmao) and we then went back to his house to just leave the car and go out on foot. so we went back to the hotel, and started shining the laser at the guard. Then we just walked on and was in the middle of the road, when we seen blue lights coming accross the bridge, so i just screamed RUN haha, we all separated, but sam, my mate, came with me for some reason. so the police man chased us 2 in his car. he got out and ran after us, and he was like like a brick ****house omg lmao, so he just basically caught up with us, caught sam and then ripped me back just as i went past him! and we got thrown into that back of the police car. searched, and then questioned why we ran! Then we rang josh, to tell him to come back aswell after he escaped haha.

no harm done? well not heard anything on the news for that area to suggest some real crime went unmanned because of youths wasting police time, just goes to show that you can give kids the world these days and they still behave like they have nothing better to do

It's hard being a teenager with no place to go and nothing to do.. they have to slowly come to terms with being self-regulating. Most take a little time about this. Maturity can't be forced, must be grown into.

Sometimes kids actions round here make me raise my eyebrows a little.. but there's a world's distance between creating a serious crime and the high japes that many teens go through as high energy levels and a lack of anything emotionally appropriate and supportive is provided by the families and the local community.

In my opinion, adolescents should be involved with learning sports, martial arts, artistic endevours, voluntary work, group activities etc at this age, that can be adult-directed but subsequently increase the teens sense of self-respect and self-understanding and become more child-lead as they individually become more mature and responsible. But many parents don't put themselves out to create these avenues for their kids and depending on where they live in the country, perhaps there aren't many facilities.

COM i was a right cow when i was young, always up to no good and doing stupid things like the op, but we never had much, what i was saying is it seems no matter what they now have they still do the same, so my thoughts on "we had nothing else better to do" now seems even if we had of, we would have still been the way we where, off to remove all daughters luxuries

My 15 yr old isn't allowed out unsupervised ( female). She's pretty sensible and doesn't wish to be. She's involved in lots of amateur dramatics and has been on the stage at the albany and her majesty's theatre. She has GCSE revision set times, out of school activities and sports that take up her evenings after school.

My 20 yr old makes computers for a living. He was made redundant about, oh almost a yr ago now and has been making comps at home and selling them to friends, neighbours etc. I don't think he could cope with a proper business as yet as he isn't mature enough to do this day in and day out ( and he has both parents feeding him and putting a roof over his head! ) enough to make a proper wage but he does do voluntary work 5 days a week. He did police cadets and all that stuff. He goes out with his friends maybe once or twice a week. Sometimes he comes home, sometimes he meets a girl and I don't see him till the next morning. His wallet contains condoms so hopefully he's sensible! At this age all you can do is hope and pray everything you taught them when they were younger sunk in far enough.

The younger ones are with me all the time. At 11 yrs of age in this house you get lots of responsibilities and chores and some rewards in terms of pets to look after, plus all those group lead activities the older ones do also.

My little three year old is just starting to understand social inclusion from starting at a private nursery school since last september. He loves it x x

Parenting teens is a real challenge. Anyone would agree with that. Just fill up their life with positive stuff and never come down too judgementally as it can really damage them at that age. Often theres still a lil two yr old inside a teen just yearning for life to be as safe and easy as it used to be when they were smaller, it's located just beneath that porscha heart they have longing for adulthood and freedom lol
