are you one? should be:thumbsup:
Its not as though they have to lift the bin up is it?

I suppose she could have shown them two fingers. V

And you do have to be aware that if you put your bin out the day before then you will receive a fine, but if your bin is not out by 07:30 then you may have missed the collection!

lol I think no one else got the memo:oops:

I think if its a safety issue with the bins falling off the lorries cause they are too heavy then the lorry has been designed wrong - not the bins are too full!

What is this world coming to :giggle:

PC, Euro-babble & nanny state all rolled into one!

I remember the coal man carrying great bags of coal around to the back of our house and the binmen lifting the bin by hand to empty it!

Complete madness these days!

What next?

Did you see on news other day about this woman who has to take her rubbish some walk away for it to be collected. The council refuse to collect from her home, since they installed recycling facilities, apparantly the lorry is too big to go down the lane to her home.
It was some distance she has to walk too,for carrying rubbish for it to be collected.

Yeh thats her.I think she got a neighbour too nearby and he don't have his collected.

I think its terrible, they should come personally to her door and collect it off her once a wk,like a special uplift,oh if she tried to arrange that they probably charge her £20 a wk for it!

Over 2K in council tax,how is she benefiting from any of that anyway, and they can't even collect her rubbish.
