I want to sell something, and the buyer insists on going through ebay and paypal.

I have their ebay user ID, can i restrict the listing so that only one person can use the Buy It Now?

why would it matter who meets your asking price, just list it and pm him the listing address?

Because we have come to a prearranged price, which is slightly cheaper than what i wanted, don't want someone else to snap it up when i have agreed a price with someone.

No, i had it listed on ebay initially, at £120, Best Offer auto reject £100. We come to an arrangement of £91, but you have limited offers on ebay, and he had used them all up.

well. list it and copy the item number and email it straight to him. listings don't go live straight away so he will have a few mins to go and get it, either way if someone else gets it you ahev a sale.

If the buyer is insisitng on going through eBay, you should ask them to cover the fees

I've managed to squeeze an extra £16 out of them from their initial offer, it's a ppretty spicialised item anyway, so i think it's best to take it :)

Thanks for all your help, i have just listed it and sent him the link. Hopefully it should be OK

The intended purchaser successfully bought it.

£91 + £25 postage costs

Ebay take £8.52 in LF and FVF
Paypal take £4.14
Postage takes £23.44

Final Total = £79.90, not too bad
