I thought this might be useful for other users like myself who have problems spelling some words :)

Goto: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3
Scroll down to English (British)
Click "Install Dictionary"
Wait for the timer to reach zero then Click Install
Wait for it to download
Restart Firefox

now any words not in the dictionary will be underlined with red dots!

Try go to tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions Tab and make sure that it's enabled, don't know why it wouldn't be, should work after firefox is restarted though :S

Firefox 3.0 beta 5 has this feature built in, it underlines the misspelt text as you type.

It's built in to the current Firefox as well razta, you just need to download the dictionary which it seems is already incorporated into the 3.0 beta
