Says they have been going for years as well. Terms and conditions look like a copy and paste from other sites. If you buy from them use a credit card to at least give you some protection. However i wouldn't.
#3
When you click on there sale banner on there home page it takes you to a website design company.

i've been trying to find them online for the last half an hour and not getting anywhere, looks a bit dodgy to me :)

:interesting on the site who claims to have designed their website.....

London fashion retailer chooses S3G to design their new ecommerce store
According to the manager of the fashion outlet, “Since 2001 the Splatt Group has been revolutionising the clothes shopping experience in the UK. For many years the Splatt Group have been distributors of high quality branded clothing to the Retail Trade and have recently diversified this trade direct to Consumers with Mail Order shopping. Shopping at Splatt.co lets you enjoy the convenience and cost savings associated with online shopping without compromising on the high levels of service and security you would expect from a top class high street retailer, all without leaving the comfort of your own home.

It was one of the biggest scams that I have seen happen to members from here.
Reading it back having not being there at the time is probably confusing.

Why people risked their hard earned for a Beko TV is the main thing I never understood.
#23
Just got 1 of these cats in today aswell, is this a scam???

Without a doubt

These sites happen every year just before Christmas, some of you might recall Focus Clothing from last year, offering Uggs, G-Star jeans & other stuff, they made over 1m from selling stuff they never had, £120 of which was my own money!!!
#26
Thank goodness all of you people have highlighted the potential ligitimacy of this company. I was just about to order Ugg Boots for my wife. won 't happen now. I too, am in Scotland.
#27
i think i have just seen a ipad 16gb for £329 on hukd at tk maxx not long ago, trawl thru the items !,yep found it.....search under tkmaxx ;)
#28
Im a postie and they caught my eye when I was delivering them today in the North-East region.
I have spent the last hour or so trying to find some info on them to see if they're legit as I was very tempted by the 100 quid Uggs. Having read all these comments Im quite pleased I hav'nt ordered any and you have all confirmed my 1st thought-ABSOLUTE CROCK OF U KNOW WHAT!! DONT BUY!!

hey i got a catlogue to and didnt think it was real so googled it and glad to see everyones comments, not having co.uk seemed a bit weird!
#31
I ordered the ugg boots last night and paid with my credit card if it is a dodgy site how will i know and how will i get my money back i could cry
#32
It is too good to be true !!! Bradford here. Lacoste t shirts and ralph lauren for £25, wow, you can't even buy fake t shirts for that price on ebay !!!

If you look on the page of Ralph Lauren jumpers, you can see the logos of Pringle and Rockport are very low quality so just copied and pasted from another website I guess.

Glad I seen this website was about to order haha....
#33
Halulabull, get on to your cc company and report you suspect the transaction as fraudulent. They may ask you to Give reasonable time for goods to arrive or speak to company. Personally I would also cancel that card as a precaution.
#34
Also got one of these today. Also Scotland. Was interested in Uggs also. Wont be ordering. Anyone any info on internet sites selling Uggs.
#35
I was just about to order loads of stuff! Thats rediculous they must have spent a fortune setting up this. It says if u order up to the 22nd ull get it for xmas thats not really doable is it.Anyone tried foning the no on the catologue!
#36
I received a brochure from http://www.splat.co in the post adressed to my son. UGG Boots £80 thought, WOW! Seems they haven't got anything to sell. Very dodgy. Keep clear!!! By the way. I live in Greater Manchester
#37
I just got catalogue/ Addressed to randome name of Barry Mundie/Current occupier. Im in Edinburgh. I called and an indian man answered, lots of noise in backgroud and couldn't speak much english. I asked if Uggs were real, he said he only takes orders. Totally dodgy!!
How can this happen!?
#38
Phoned up as I saw the ipad offer. Indian guy answered who could barely speak English. I asked to speak to his manager but as the other comments said, the Indian guy kept saying "place an order, place an order". I asked where are they based and what was the catch - he didn't answer. He then said the ipad would be delivered by courier so I'm just glad I read the comments above and didn't part with any cash! We are in Scotland too, definitely seems too good to be true. Don't do it as just a ".co address and no country of origin seems weird!!!
#39
Worked for a metropolitan police force in their fraud squad for many years, never ceased to be impressed with the scammers imagination for inventing too good to be true web sites offering designer goods at knock down prices. If I had a pound for every person now on their suckers list I would be a millionaire too. If you wish to part with hard earned money and get nothing in return go ahead and buy something from this type of parasite. Alternatively, do something rewarding with your cash and donate it to your local hospice, guide dogs for the blind or other deserving charity.
#40
So maddie3105, what's the best thing to do when you come across scammers like this, ie what's the best way to get them shut down. I've reported site and mag to trading standards, I'm assuming the police don't like to be bothered with stuff like this
