I ordered a pair of football boots on sportdirect on tuesday. Knowing I needed them before 5pm on the Wednesday evening. So as such I picked express next day delivery. Comes to 5pm on Wednesday and still no DHL bloke has turned up. Tracking of the order stated that the item had not been picked up once on this day from the Sheffield warehouse. I finally did receive my boots yesterday (Thursday) at 3pm almost 55 hours after I placed my order. They state that is should take no longer than 24 hours to deliver when the express option is chosen.
Just wanted to know where I stand from a refund point, as I have paid for a service that clearly did not fall under the "express" terms!
