Spray or paint for car?

Hi i recently purchased a golf excellent condition, now some jealous pig has decided to scratch the bumper and boot door, is there anything i can do to cover the scratch ? like buy a spray or something ? thanks

Depends on how good a job you're after really. You can buy touch up paints at Halfords that help, but the finish isn't too good.

Someone on here has posted a link in a similar thread on how to DIY repair and made a decent job of it, maybe they'll post.

have you tried to t-cut it out yet?

you cant just spray straight over the scratch. u have to prime the area then do it. either get a propa job done or just get touch up paint from the main dealer with the exact code for your paint.

How deep are the scratches? If it's down to the primer or the metal underneath then it's likely that you're going to need to get it painted. If the scratches are light then try and find a local car detailer who might be able to polish them out. Have a look at http://www.detailingworld.co.uk

paints4u supposedly do good touch up kits too.
