spurs for the drop
#2
If they're still bottom at Xmas they will be doomed
#3
Definitely Newcastle. They are a badly run club. Spurs are just a badly managed team.
#4
There is going to be a closing down sale at white hart lane and at st james park
[mod]#5
Im a Man Utd fan but I do think that Ramos is a good manager and shouldnt be sacked.
They need to play players who put in a good shift like Frazier Campbell. They panic bought their players and could have tried to get more for their money.
They will not be relegated. What are we, 10 games in? Although, the board wont want to make a decision too late.

Lets all laugh at Tottenham.

Ultimately, it was him who sanctioned the sale of Keane and Berbatov, to get in just Pavlyuchenko (sp?)

And who's fault is it that Bentley is being played out of position. Ramos has got it totally messed up at that club, although not ALL his fault, he must shoulder a lot of the blame.

They should have just kept Martin Jol

atleast they are above wolves lol

I dont disagree. They should have NEVER got rid of Jol.
Director of football is a MASSIVE mistake. Look at the mess they are in with it since they have had one. I just hope they dont get rid of Ramos.

rubbish

the club owners sold Berba, Keane and Defoe - 70 goals between them
how much was Bent bought for again
why was Jol sacked when he was doing a fine job?
#12
I think we will get it right under Ramos not sure how long he will get though.
Laugh as much as you like I had a good laugh last year when Arsenal got beat by Liverpool

Spending big does NOT make you a big club, being in the top 4 and winning trophies are what make a big club.

The ONLY big clubs, at the moment, are Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United. Spurs, Newcastle, West Ham, Man City etc. are NOT big clubs

Leeds spent tens of million and where are they now?

Spurs would have been a lot better giving £70M to charity and promoting a load of U18s players to the first team. Afterall they couldn't do any worse and then the club may actually get some repsect.

Hmmm So what trophies did Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal win? Yeh, I know. Carlings cup silverware don't count. (Unless of course the club YOU support wins it!)

Tottenham's run up to Xmas

Bolton H
Arsenal A
Liverpool H
City A
Fulham A
Blackburn H
Everton H
West Ham A
Man Utd H
Newcastle A

If I were a Spurs fan i'd be absolutely delighted to take 8 or 9 points from that run

Do they even have any defenders now?

King - Injured permanently
Dawson - Suspended for 3 games
Bale - Suspended for 3 games
Corluka - Injured?
Hutton - Carrying a knock today
Woodagte - Not injured yet but certainly injury prone, Spurs need to wrap him in cotton wool for the next week

Since 2000

Chelsea - 2 leagues, Carling Cup
Liverpool - 2 FA Cups, UEFA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League
Man United - Err, a few leagues, Champions League
Arsenal - A few leagues, i think an FA Cup as well.

Outside big 4 since 2000

Middlesborough - Carling Cup
Tottenham - Carling Cup
Portsmouth FA Cup

Lol

What can I say Hull are on fire

They played very similarly like when they played you, 10 men behind the ball only attacking on set pieces. We were unlucky we should have had a pen really and we had a goal wrongly disallowed. Still though you can't win them all and we can take some positives away with us today unlike yourselves :p

where is Yimmie?

We used to have some banter and she used to say that Spurs were better then Boro!

LOL... any reason you stopped short at 2000? 1999 had a good ring to it!!:w00t:

If winning competitions is the all important thing, I think you will find Spurs have won an awful lot more than Chelski!

I think you missed "LOL @ spurs for breaking even" funny that, seeing as they'll have more money to spend in the january transfer period. so what we're messing up at the moment...
there's still a long long while to go for us to get in the top half of the table isn't there. :)
#39
Do you think you'll come straight back up Guv?

I think your problem this season has been the team gelling, a lot of players are going to want to leave in January as they realise they are too good for Tottenham and even more will leave at the end f the season as they wont want to play in the Championship meaning you will have the same problem all over again.

I can't even think of any players that will sign for you in January to try and keep you up

Portsmouth may loan you Nugent, we have Gabbidon we could possibly loan you, maybe try and get a few reserves from the Championship in?
