Spyware/Malware - RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE - Advice to ensure complete removal?

Somehow downloaded program called 'relevant knowledge' which turned up in my tray. It came through downloading a free DIVX player in haste - called ace divx player. Stay clear of it!

Computer was freezing and not allowing removal thru usual means so did so in safe mode through 'remove programs' (ace player and relevant knowledge). Now worried it has placed itself in the registry or elsewhere, so wondering if you can advise best way to ensure complete removal. Thanks

btw, using AVG free. Running a full scan now.
