I had/have too many problems with Cdiscount, lots of phone calls and tens of emails to sort out the mess. It's like either no one in that company understands English or no one cares or they are not fit for the job they suppose to do.

Had problems before with them, gave them another chance but they screwed it again.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN and I strongly recommend you all to stay away even though they have good deals sometimes (not always).

I thought this after they cocked up my order,but they redeemed themselves,by giving me a code for money off my next order,in fact I got an Ipod dock,cricket set,pc mouse for £2.97 delivered......by using the code......hope they sort yours out,as they certainly did with mine,they emailed and phoned me to apoligise :thumbsup:

My 1st experience with Cdiscount:
shrug - last week I ordered both the Grundig and the Samsung Home Cinema Systems when they had the 20% off... (I ordered the grundig before someone posted the samsung htz220 deal). I called up once to cancel the grundig order - person was very helpful.
The Samsung order arrived today, so I'm off home to unbox it :)

Room for improvement:
1. Order form leads you to believe it autocompletes with house number and postcode - it doesn't so you have to call them *after* shipping so they can tell te courier.
2. Account/Order management on their website really should let you cancel an order before picking/shipping.

I've used them several times this year and had no problems at all. Perhaps I have been lucky or OP has been unlucky, I'll still continue using them.

I placed about 10 orders with them in few months but now they just made me to stay away

They somehow redeemed themselves on the first order which they messed up but on last one I can't take it anymore:
Paid express charges for delivery for penultimate order to have it sooner but I received it few days later. They said courier did not find us at home which was a lie of course as other 3 companies UPS, DHL etc found us at home that day to deliver. Requested the extra charge to be refunded but it did not happen.

Seeing this I cancelled the last order as I was just tired and do not have time to call and email to resolve the problems with all orders. They confirmed it as cancelled but of course it did not happen. Received txt on Friday from HDNL saying they will deliver that day. I told Cdiscount about it and they said they shouldn't deliver. They didn't but today I received 4 txt msgs from HDNL confirming they will deliver today. Again emailed Cdiscount and they said courier tried to deliver on Friday, sorry blabla they will deliver today. I said W*F I cancelled the order. Courier came today to deliver. Of course I refused.

Too much hassle and I am tired. I problems with 3 orders from 10. This is not the kind of service I want.

Iv used them a few times & had great service,

I even got a couple of items when they had a cash back promotion on & they seamed to be having problems getting one of my items so when i got the cash back in my account i spent it & cancelled the item & they didnt say anything about the cashback they had given me which i had spent

messed up first order, they resolved it nicely, placed other orders which ended ok then messed up big time LAST 2 orders
so no more orders from me from now on...

I've ordered a few things from them too,including a laptop, never had any problems and got good cashback on everything i bought.

I personally would recommend them

I've ordered five things from them, and all been perfect so far. A work colleague also used them on my recommendation and he was very happy with them.

I'd recommend them.

I've used them a couple times and they've been really good value but the last order was a little sour after they sent me a pair of jeans that was ripped where it shouldn't of been :p and the other pair seemed used. :oops:

Everyone had had a bad experiance somewhere with shops, doesnt mean all transactions will be the same.
I have used them myself and never had a problem.

Suprised no-one saw this coming really, I mean come on they were giving goods away chucking account credit arround like confetti and then they started charging on 3 pay then withdrew it, not a shocker really and to be fair their returns process was pretty backward for faulty goods.


serves em right for cancelling my 2 orders and doing a credit check on me without asking............i never did get over that:)

although tbf last week i got £15 quid in my topcashback account paid:-D

i think this site will have lost a lot of kickbacks tho from their demise.......bet theyre all in mourning

lol, thought this might come seeing as they had so many flash sales. At least I'll stop getting 50 e-mails a day from them!!!

I assume it's true?
