Not a deal but what the hey.

How come you didnt keep it to send back to Findus - that would be a good deal! I found a hair in the yoghurt coating of a go-ahead bar, and send it back to McVities. £20 vouchers arrived, and all spent on bogof mcvities offers... £40 quids worth of free mcvities biscuits... mmm! (I stayed away from the go-ahead bars though!)

Yes i think i would have contacted Findus. Several years ago in Florida my ex wife found a toe nail inside a bag of potato chips ( crisps to us ) which we brought in Walmart. They gave us $50 when we complained.

LOL, you wouldn't believe this but my mate told me the other day that her daughter had half eaten a bag of crisps and she used the packet to put her toe nail clippings in and not realising that her husband was going to wake up later only to eat the remains

Yep definately complain even without the evidence you will still get something.

I once found a blue bottle baked into an oven bottom, but only realised when I started crunching it. Asda gave me a £20 voucher

I've got a three year old. I agree, it's difficult to stop your kids eating some rubbish food. However, I think it's a feeble excuse for some parents to say they haven't got the time / money to prepare decent food. It takes just about as long and costs just about the same to make something fresh rather than manky frozen crispy pancakes.

It's been proven time and time again that quality of food affects everything from behavoir, intelligence, health, etc in children. I think Jamie Oliver is a bit of a patronsing donk, but he's right on this one! If we as a nation started feeding our kids better, I'm sure the benefits would be immense.

I blame Kerry Katona!!!

omg Iceland must be mad if they think that girl is a good idea:roll:
Yep at age 3 you control it-and then at school its ok as they have the healthy menu (although my son takes care to choose the most unhealthy things he can find)
When they are older it really doesnt matter what you have instilled into them..my daughter ate fruit and veg and homecooked meals-at 15 its junk food and she point blank refuses veg-and trust me i am no pushover and have tried all but force feeding-lol
Its sad but as long as this carp is available it will be eaten.
