I started a thread a week and a half ago as I was wanting to move back to my home town, and currently I stay in student accomodation and have a massive room(not inc bills) foir £50 a week and there is 2 empty rooms in the house with no locks so can use them like a flat if bored(though I never do as its hassle taking my pc across when I want to use it)
Plus the housemate brings randomers back from clubs for parties and they start snooping round rooms and have had a few things stolen already from the communal wardrobe.
Despite that I love the freedom of space but only when I havent got things on my mind.
So I am torn between getting a flat in my home town 35-40 miles away in a tiny town with nothing there, but has excellent(for me) clubs and bars and parents live there so can see them often, but flats and bedsits there are VERY expensive i.e its about £90-£100 a week for a tiny 1 bedroom flat then you have to pay council tax and bills on top.
I saw a friend last week when viewing flats and am looking after his flat for abut 10 days but have come back to my bedsit every day because the friend only has a portable tv, no pc, no internet and no digital tv and the house is FREEZING and I do mean that, I have to sleep in a t shirt and hoodie and tracksuit bottoms and still am cold, and got a sore back from his bed(though its less than a year old and double bed)
However I felt "better" in that flat but didnt feel like home and when I came back to my bedsit I felt like I did before my serious depression probably because I was out of the house for hours and not swamped with all my dvds and tv etc.
