hi, if my phone gets stolen and i report it along with the imei code, can my phone be used by someone else?
can it be unlocked?

My phone was stolen on Friday night so have been looking into this too.
It is illegal to change an imei but it can be done. I have also been told it also depends on the network if they phone can be blocked.
The police said they tend to be sold on gumtree & some other site but like you I just want my phone back :(

All UK networks block them. IMEIs can be changed but you need special equipment.

Thats mainly for S/E you will find that you will need pro unlocking gear ;-)
