I have a few xbox 360 games stolen from my car. Is there anyway I can get them tracked or banned by microsoft? Or do they not have there own id to each disc?
Wish I could place these discs right up the theifs input port!

My boyfriends flat got burgled last year whilst we were at Leeds Festival, (games included) spotted the hoover in Money Traders (after we'd told the police) so we went round the shop picking out every game he had that had the same date of trade in as the hoover, didn't get all back as some had sold but we got most of them back.

Good detective work! No doubt the police don't have the time to do it, but at least they backed you up and got the shop to hand the stuff back to you. Hopefully the police caught up with the guy otherwise I guess it would have been the shop that lost out - paying the thief for the stuff and then having to give it back to you.

OP - no unique identifier on a Xbox game disk. You'll just have to check the local second hand shops, Gumtree, etc. Also look on eBay for a local person selling a games collection which mysteriously matches yours! I can imagine Game and Gamestation wouldn't be very cooperative but you could maybe try asking them if they had someone come in with your games (give them a list) in the past week or so. If they say yes, the police might be able to look into the guy who traded them in.

It was actually a girl, she lived in the flat above with her boyfriend, she had stood there and let them take her picture etc whilst she sold them in, idiot. The shop was about 5 minutes from our flat too - (how stupid can people get?)
He was down a 16" lcd tv, (which was actually mine) a play and charge kit, and a couple of games when we eventually got it back. Not heard anything about what's happened to them etc but I'm assuming something has got to happen so that they pay Money Traders back as you said... Not had a letter saying that it has been closed but they are taking their time, it was 7 months ago lol I keep checking the Gazette in hope of spotting something.

OP you didn’t leave the games on a seat did you in full view?

They’re probably sitting on the shelf of your local Cex as we speak.

if you look on the reading side of a disc it has numbers near the centre, my friends disc of the same game had different numbers, so is it so out of this world to think that these numbers might be available to msn to view?

The shock of your robbery has effected your brain. Don't worry after a couple of hours you will come to your senses and delete this thread.
