I've thrown broken toys and rubbish toys, palmed other toys off onto friends and family and still have lots left
tuff tubs just look messy now, they're ok once Ive sorted out but after being left a day with the boys they look a mess again

I'm lucky really coz babes has a play room, i use the big toy chests with lids and shot them in there, and she then uses them as a seat also. For the cuddly toys, i've pinned them all to the walls and ceilings to make it look more child friendly and also cures the problem of having them all over the floor.

I have made hammocks for all the cuddly toys and hung them around the top of the room, kids are allowed their fabourite/special toys in their rooms and rest are all in boxes on shelves in garage. That way they have to ask for a box of toys out and its easier to put one box at a time away. When all the toys were easily available they regularly emptied them all over the floor and it never worked.

We have some storage units from Ikea for the kids toys.
