Strange envelope arrived this morning..

Hi guys.. just a quick one.

I found an envelope on the door mat this morning, my name and address were written on it in biro - and it had two franking stickers on (please see pic).

http://i53.tinypic.com/2pt12z8.jpg

When I opened it, it was empty. It didn't look like anyone has swiped it in the post either - it was securely stuck down. The franking stickers have been ripped in half, but "MPLUS" is visible on one of them.

The postcode from where it was sent is also visible - does anyone have any ideas as to how I can try and identify the sender? I did try a "*MPLUS NW9" search on Google - but nothing came up.

I'm just a little concerned it could be something important, so would like to establish who it's from..

Thanks!

Just write return to sender on it, put it back in the post box and then follow it when it gets picked up, works everytime for me.

Royal mail don't do return to sender. Only a forwarding on as a good will gesture

Two lots of 36p postage? Seems alot for an empty envelope - obviously there was something in there when it was weighed and posted...

Cheers looks like it's this - TELECOM PLUS is to do with the Utility Warehouse, I just signed up with them - so looks to be them. I am expecting something from them - but not an empty envelope.

Give Neopost a ring and ask them who owns the franking machine with the serial number N1204663.

Good call - I did wonder who "N" was, my FM is a "PB", Pitney Bowes. I did call Neopost but they couldn't help me, data protection and all that crap.

Cheers for the help.
