Oh dear. There's always one.

Anyway, back on topic.

I got a copy of Little Big Planet 2 weeks before it launched in the UK, I traded in another game and got it for £19 (US Import) I checked on Ebay and people were pay £80-100 for a copy!!

I didn't sell mine as I wanted to pay it, but WHY pay that much for a game that's only 2 weeks from launch?? Madness!

Little Big Planet 2? WANT!

Ha! No. I meant "Little Big Planet, 2 weeks before release...."

Missed out my comma!

Is there really a market for used undies on Ebay? Seems like an ideal money-making scheme!! Why wash your underwear if you can sell it to freaks on Ebay and buy new stuff every week with the profits!!

A week or two ago i was looking on ebay to buy a Sony Ericsson C902.
The phone i was watching was new, locked to Orange and came boxed with all the obvious ****.
As the auction came to an end i was left shocked and confused.

The phone sold for £950+ ?!?

I don't no if its just me but why would someone pay that, when you could go to a shop and prob buy 3 for that amount!!!

Anybody got any ideas of this?? :?

I'm pretty sure that there is a scam with Nigerians, they pay really high for an item and then send payment which is over and above the item, they then get you to send the overpayment money back to them by international money transfer and then their original payment bounces which means the seller ends up being out of pocket

"Additionally, there are two Nigerian scams that have become widespread on eBay. An auction winner pays for a purchase with a cheque larger than the amount and asks for the change to be sent to him, but after the money has been sent the original cheque (or money order) proves to be a forgery. The auction winner might promise payment on receipt of goods (C.O.D.), but no payment ever appears. There's also the fake escrow service. The buyer suggests depositing money into an escrow service, with the cash released on receipt of the goods (frequently a laptop computer). However, the escrow service is a fraud, and once the goods have been dispatched, it closes. "

I'm just off to sort out my shoe cupboard!!!
Do you reckon anyone would be interested in my thigh high boots I used to wear to glam-rock concerts all those yrs ago:lol:

It is so amazing what people will buy! And to think of all those shoes I threw away cause they had holes in. Could have made a fortune.
:-D

And my hubbie thought I was a little strange with my fixation of collecting all things elvis!!
