I'm in Manchester area too. Not sure gritters would have done any good with this amount of snow to be honest. I work in Horwich, live in Leigh - the first time in 20 years that I have been unable to get to work coz of the weather. Def the worst I've seen for years. Did get sent home once about 14 years ago - it was prob this bad then.

It's white in London - but only through frost.

Guess I cant leave it any longer to get Bunny in the shed! (Have had to change his water bottle twice a day 'cos its freezing, though his hutch does have insulation, so not as bad as it might appear!

Just hope it holds out and doesnt snow before I get home so it can be moved easily!

I tried to get to work this morning...

You'll see from the tracks how far I got (bottom left car).

Our Council website is a watse of time, the radio stations tend to have a long list of schools that are closed on their websites:thumbsup:

Just a hint guys and gals. Worth using the facilities before you leave. Nothing worse that being stuck in a huge tailback and busting for the loo. Take care out there
