Subway being stingy

Went to subway yesterday armed with my "get a footlong and a medium drink for £3.99" voucher that I got just after xmas..

When i showed them the voucher they said I couldn't use it on any subs that contained Steak or Chicken?! Didn't say anything was excluded on the voucher that I had, and in the booklet, some of the vouchers actually have the image of a chicken sub on them?!

Then I ordered two 6" Ham subs on the £1.49 offer and was told i had to pay an extra 20p per sub if i wanted it "warmed up" and an extra 15p per sub if I wanted cheese with it?! It doesn't say that on the menu?!

Are they just being stingy??!!

Cheese is free unless you want double. which is 20p for 6' and 40p for 12'
Warming up is free.

what a cheek! I thought they were just being stingy! there was a sign on the coke machine saying "No Refills" as well!

penny pinching, obviously!

They were royally taking the p*ss.

I've used one of those vouchers before and there were 2 subs I couldn't have, they were in the small print, one was the reggae chicken thing, and I can't remember the other, was one of the fancy ones though. everything else was fine.

I also had the ham sub the other day, toasted with cheese for £1.49, was lush too!

I think I will! If i bought the sub at it's normal price they wouldn't have charged me for cheese or to have it warmed up!

Very rude!

My friend once had his sub dropped TWICE after heating so he had to wait for a third one, he got a free drink.

i dunno where you are but once i asked for my sub to be toasted but the person making it burnt it and i asked for another and they made it again for the same price no extra charge

I had a sub on tuesday using the voucher, two meals (sub, crisps and drink) for £5.99, we had them both with steak and cheese....no problems

I would have said something lol! If it doesn't say it on the voucher then you should have been able to get it!!!
