sugar free chewing gum

if u read the back it does have calories in it...but is that just the gum bit....

when dieting how bad is it to chew gum.... i know i never included it in my Weight watchers points when i was with WW.... gonna start ye old dieting next week... but was wondering if i had been missing a big chun of calories out?

thanks bg1.... so i can chew as much sugar free gum? the calories at the back is for the bit we spit out??

thanks happy donkey..... slim fast is a tough diet... found paul mckenna works quite well.... basically im fasting at mo ...and putting weight on..weird as it sounds... just munch a lot in the evenings! anyways.... after fasting finishes gonna hit gym and paul mckenna..although those offers do seem tempting....

quite excited about going back on diet... feels yucky being all frumpy and clothes not fitting as they do when ur regularly going to the gym!plus gives me a few hours away from kids and able to blast ipod!

Weight put on/Weight loss(Z)

X-Y=Z

if it don't grow, or eat something that grows, dont eat it. You go by this and you become healthy and look good.

I presume the fasting is religious :) I did read if you fast the body thinks it wont get food, so when you eat it tends to just store it as fat, stupid body :giggle: the slimfast powder is nowhere near as nice as the ready made stuff and I'm just doin it while its cheap LoL

Always worth keeping notes on exactly how many cals you consume and burn, do you know what the relation of excess cals to fat put on is, saw it once but lost it :x

3500cals = 1lb of fat.

I eat about 1500-200cals cals a day @ the moment, in 4/5meals a day.

I burn about 2k+ each day with my training and maintenance of my body.

isnt that less than u should be having..i thought men needed 2500 unless ur dieting then 2000? if ur burning so much and eating so little it cant be good...although the 4/5 times is best way to eat. im a serial snacker....thats my biggest downfall ...esp evenings when the kids go down..thats why gonna up y gym membership and go gym in evenings instead of hukd with a snack!

happy... yeah fasting is religious.... very few ppl lose weight....for same reasons u stated

nah thats just a general guideline, I dont read too much into that. that women need 2k men need 2.5k.

forget the chewing gum, motivate yourself by walking for an hour or 90 minutes....then a have a nice juicy mouth watering Mars Bar!
