My 3yo has been successfully potty trained and has earned loads of "good girl" and "dry night" stickers over the last four months, so was looking to take her on a day out to asafari park or the zoo sometime in the next two weeks as another way of saying "well done".

I've seen the free kids offer for Knowesley Safari Park, but was wondering if anyone had a similar one for Chester Zoo, or anywhere else. It'd be me, the wife, my 3yo and my 7 mth old. We live between Leeds and Manchester, and are happy to travel around a bit to go somewhere.

Any suggestions on where would be good to go? Also, any vouchers for these suggestions?

Obviously much Rep will be handed out for those helpful people, so ta muchly in advance!

If you have tesco's clubcard vouchers i'd recommend trading them in for days out vouchers as you get 4 times the value. I took the whole family 3 adults & 2 children to the zoo for around £12 in vouchers  This works out so much better than BOGOF offers :)

This lets you take kids free, although under threes go free anyway.

We have taken ours to the Snow Zone in Manchester, for about £5 each you can play in the snow and make snowmen etc. That was really popular.

Have you looked into http://www.parkhallfarm.co.uk/ our kids loved that. The other good favourite is Martin Mere WWF in Ormskirk.

Gullivers world was really popular with my son and friends-it is close to our house in warrington just off the M62(closer for you than safari park too) and you can spend the whole day there too. It was £10 each under 90cm free i think..hope this helps.

we've got two of those things, but thanks for the offer anyway, much appreciated.

Also, many thanks to those of you who gave suggestions. I'm going to write them all down and let my 3 year old pick where they want to go!
