if it Quay West in Newquay south Wales its a nice park we have been on a sun holiday to same place last year - you can walk into the town or its easy to get to other places near by realy recommend it. Do you know you dont have to pay the linen or service charge if you dont want to? just take your own stuff and not use the pool or bars on site, when you phone up to pay the balance just say you dont want it :)

we upgraded and the caravan was about six months old but i think that was more luck than anything after upgrading on our first sun holiday this year in Tenby we decided it was not worth it and wont be doing it again (it was very old and shabby) - we never used to book the passes cause we have a small child but now he is 3 years old and we went to Borth a couple of months ago we did cause at least you have a pool if the weather is rubbish and a bar to go to thats close by - it realy depends what you are going to do

i would be intersted if anyone else think the upgrade is worth it or just a con........................:)

we have been doing the holidays twice a year for the last 3 years and no complaints you get what you pay for!

a friend of mine had some dates she wasn't keen on and phoned up and they changed them.

it was Pointins. she was able to change the dates, not location.

obviously you need to wait until you have the booking form before you do this.

don't pay for linen. if you are going by car, take your own, they supply duvets and pillows. you use need to take sheets and covers.

you may not want to pay for entertainment either. this will depend on whether you are going to stay in the park or use it as a base or explore the area.

we have done 5 Sun hols so far. we have never upgraded.

we were automatically upgraded once, and it wasn't that different.

we usually take our microwave with us and the laptop to play dvd's on. we take a plug in electric fan fire to heat the bedrooms and use the gas hob to heat the lounge/kitchen.

Thanks all,
Ive been told to take a micro cos they dont provide them in standard accomodation. So
I will take laptop for dvd films for kids, Microwave( mines light) and portable heater which is small just incase its cold. ( They have no heater in bedrooms) and will take our own bedding etc.
Im still not sure on passes.... Ive got one 7yr old and one 15yr old?
They wont want to leave the site i doubt..
Maybe the passes are worth it? i dont know.
