Yes, my Son got it last year (age 7 at the time). I have watched him play and can't see any reason why it was rated for a higher age group.

He absolutely loves it and quickly got the hang of unlocking new characters. Well worth getting.

i'm 34 and can't make head nor tail of it,lol

tends to be pot luck with the controls, just wave the wiimote around, push a button here and there, you may get lucky and win, that sort of game

Im 36 and i cant work out how to play fruit machines anymore:oops:

all depends what he likes and how he plays, personally I think it's a bit fiddly

so far he has mario kart, sonic at olymics, wii play, wii sports, carnival games, rayman raving rabbits, boogie superstar, and spongebob, the ones highlighted he plays loads, others not as much, sonic unleashed was just to manic for him, he also wants animal crossing but got the deal of the wii fit with samsh brothers but think will trade it in for animal crossing

My son also has Mario Galaxy which recently one best game of 2008 at a recent awards ceremony.

He and his friends spent hours on this (they have completed it now, he got it last Easter) but he still likes to start again in case he's missed anything.

No its nothing like Smash Bros. Its a typical platform type game in that you have to complete levels. You go through the galaxy from planet to planet, and each planet has a different theme.

Typical Mario type game but excellent graphics, and good for playing with friends cos its multi-player.

My son also wants Animal Crossing (his friend has it), it talks a load of gibberish but they are both obsessed with it.

Have told him to wait for his Birthday in April, and hopefully by then he will have found another game he 'desperately' wants!!
