What a coincidence, we invade for no apparent reason and it turns out there is millions of barrels of oil underground.

You would never have guessed it would you?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water-fuelled_car

"A water-fuelled car is a motor car that uses water as its fuel or produces fuel from water onboard, with no other energy input. Water-fuelled cars have been mentioned in history books, newspaper and popular science magazines, and urban legends since the 1800s; these claims have been found in court to be fraudulent hoaxes."

very convenient, mclovin (tragic), that you chose not to relate to my initial statement from quite some time ago.

you do not possess the means to disprove it.

from the same link that duck posted:

"The vehicle unveiled by Japanese company Genepax in June 2008. While many news reported dubbed the vehicle a "water-fuel car",[3] it is actually powered by hydrogen generated on-board from the reaction of a metal hydride with water. Since the metal hydride is the ultimate source of the car's energy, it is not truly a water-fuelled car."

this is indeed similar to what we discussed all those weeks ago. Rather, I tried to discuss whilst you ran around with your trousers round your ankles screaming "la-la-la-la".

a debate based on on plane of discussion is not a debate, merely an assassination of the base facts presented.

my original argument still stands, you do not possess the means to disprove it.

It's not a war for oil as such. It's a war for the benfit of the entire future of the Western world, since without Iraq's oil, we would all be in major trouble of becoming a third-world nation ourselves. It's all part of a long-term strategy to keep the UK and the US afloat as nations. Unless you want your grandkids to live in squalor and die of starvation shortly after birth (after all, China isn't going to give us any charity as we do to the present third-world), you may as well lay down these stilly .gif banners and support the war.

Saddam Hussein needed to be kicked out of power.

And the war has done that.

And who backed him and put him in such a position that he could take power?

I wonder when the film will come out and who'll play the lead?

Aye, and left millions worse off than they were before.

Oh, the USA and UK were allies of IRAQ for many years prior to the Gulf War, they didn't think too badly of the regime when it suited them.

I doubt mugabe has ever been 'democratically' elected, i mean bush would be one to talk ..

Totally agree shengis.

Poor Foreign Policies done that as well as giving the Taliban their power. I vote Christian Bale, mainly because he's an awesome actor

No, that was the edited story after the superbomb that detonated in 30 minutes was never found. I think you'll find Iraqi's were more liber when there wasn't the threat of a bombardment every hour.

Wasn't Bush elected by the people? If not then maybe Blair wasn't either? Oh no wait.... maybe that's how we won the vote for the 2012 Olympics.

Nah don't be silly, it's all above board.

Al Gore lost because of Nader getting the votes that would've gone to Gore if Naylor hadn't run.

It was alot more complicated than that and a little research would tell you that. The bush mafia have people in high places . . .

lol no it wasn't an edited story at the time they honestly thought that he had the capability to make weapons of mass destruction. And no it wasn't more liberated before the war.

I know it's more complicated than that and I know there are dodgy dealings going on behind the scene, who is to say the Democrats didn't have an equal or greater effect behind the scenes? The whole point in those sorts of things is to keep them secret. Therefore I don't pay attention to those sorts of things.

I'm not trying to be funny Proximo, do you read the Sun and accept their opinions, or do you prefer to research the facts and form your own judgement,

Fairly obvious to me
