it doesnt bother me but i dont think theres any need for it, im just listening to the courteeners new album falcon stunning as it it it has a bit of swearing in it, so when its playing in my car i have to keep dropping the volume at key times due to to kids being present, there must be something they could do to get around this.

there are usually 'clean' versions or 'radio edit' versions of music.

i couldnt find one on the newsgroups ;-)

a quick search on the internet....... you are correct, if you can use some sort of audio manipulation software you might be able to insert your own word in to the songs :w00t:

I don't see what the problem is - you don't want your kids hearing certain words in certain songs, don't play the music around them.:?

Censorship isn't the way to compensate for parents' 'issues'.

Have to admit this really gets up my nose too! I hear a song on the radio which I like so I go buy the album and stick it on at home/in the car and it's got swear words in it. Now I swear ....a lot but not infront of my kids. My 4 year old daughter was singing along to something the other day about 'giving head'. I hadn't even noticed it b4 and I know damm well that they don't play it on the radio! :x

Oh and I'm always with my kids, one of them anyway so don't really get the chance to listen to it on me own

A. It's Lily Allen - what were you expecting?

B. It's a song about a sexually unfulfilled woman.

C. Track 8 is called 'F' You - maybe there's a clue that it might be a little explicit?

Didn't read it....just liked another song so got the album! That was just an example tho...another one, James blunt...another...Robbie Williams. The problem is, until u buy it u don't know as when it's on the radio they delete it! so it's a con.
