Why is it such hell ?
Awww, get well soon.

Take some paracetamol or some Benalyn Flu tablets or something - cheap in poundland if you have a friend willing to pick you some up. Drink lots of water too.
you should really get some rest instead of typing into the wee small hours of the morn
Not had it but just had a bacon roll. Lovely :)
its the same as any other flu...i know loads of people that have had it. furthermore my girlfriend has worked with people with it due to her working in the maternity department for a hospital...she thinks she had it as she had flu like symptoms for a few days but got over it quick enough

What on earth has that got to do with this thread LOL! :?
Don't get me started about this....my brother thought he had it and that's the reason why I'm not allowed to see my new baby niece. :x

i know what id prefer...
i thought i had it, but not convinced it was (swine flu) ... how can you be sure it is swine flu though?

Swine = pig, bacon comes from a pig. See what I did there?
I have supposedly just had swine flu, which caused a chest infection, I felt pretty crappy for a few days, but I have had worse colds and actual seasonal flu which I have been unlucky to have once was MUCH worse, I would not be tapping away on a lap top.

Swine flu is supposedly much milder than seasonal flu, and if that was it, it was but it would be so easy just to have a cold or swine flu and not know the difference tbh.

My brother practically said the same thing. :w00t:

He was sent back home from work today, as he was so bored, he actually wanted to work lol but they told him he needs written confirmation from his doc to return. :giggle:
Needless to say, he's been out all evening. :p
 Yeah it's never really bothered me, the reason they said swine, is it hit me and my eldest he brought it home from school 2 days back into term, it affected his asthma, and caused a pain in my chest, I had asthma as a kid, so I knew they would say it was swine, I would of been right as rain if I had not of got an infection, but I have been quite run down of late.

It's a walk in the park compared to "real" flu, I have deffo had worse colds:thumbsup:

So what's all the big drama about it, as I heard it's supposed to be so bad, you can barely move, let alone run up and down the house like my brother has been? lol

BTW, when you say "I've deffo had worse colds"....do you actually mean man flu? :giggle:
I've never experienced a 'worse' cold before lol, that's why I describe it as hell as I'm so dizzy i can barely find the computer scren HA, loss of my mucsles i.e I'm struggling to walk, my throught feels like a metal shredder, burning up so much but still being cold lol
This makes me laugh.
They are diagnosing people who have a FEW of the symptoms as having swine flu!! When most of them DONT, they actually only have virus, colds etc
Proper Swine flu is bad, It physically hurt to move, everywhere ached including my teeth, glands were huge, my ears continually hurt, coughed continually, couldnt swollow, temperature, severe headache bad stomach, -- i was diagnosed with it yet i dont think i did have it.
My temp was controllable, apparently Swine flu temp is hard to bring down. Mine wasnt.
I have no underlaying conditions and felt better in about 5 days.
