ah yes these arnt what they seem...
If i were you id stay away

its hard to explain, but basicly you end up paying more than you want to..

10 bids come to say a fiver..
each bid is worth 2p on the site (u bid in 2's)

it looks cheap but its not, your attuly paing about 10 times the amount seen on the site.

so if an item sold for £30 u need to split that down into bids.. and each bid cost around 10p ..
so its like 10p x Bids = proper amount..
then you have to pay for the item £30...

this make any sence?

Ahh
So is too good to be true, thanks guys x

you pay 40p per bid.. one bid = 9p
11 bids = £1 towards the item..

11 bids will cost you £4.40...

so if u see an item on there for £20 then infact people have already paid £88 .. i think..

tell me about it lol!
basicly its like.. ill give you 9p for every 40p you give me :p

then i'll let you use that 9p i gave you to "bid" on items

it takes 11 bids per £1 showen in the ad..
so if u look at one of the listings that are going for £10.. its taken 99 bids at 40p a time.
so times 99 by 40 and thats how much people have spent on that item so far.

omg i really wanna tell you how its done, but its impossible without a convo face 2 face lol

looking at some of the completed listings it looks as if a lucky few get some complete bargains while others have paid over the odds!

I've a mate who made a fortune buying stuff of Swoopo in its early days and reselling it on ebay. Only get involved if you're prepared to spend the time working out how to get a good deal. It can be done, but it takes time, patience and intelligence. If you're lacking any of the three, best to avoid it.

It was one of those sites that was great to get on to in the early days and grab stuff when there were fewer users. Now it's just not worth the hassle/money

I’ve used Swoopo in the past but there are so many using it now it is SO hard to win, bidding against people from other countries as well. I found another one that is launching soon called Doobids. I’d be surprised if anyone knows about it because I have not seen them advertising anywhere yet. They are getting around Facebook as a fan page but they seem a bit different from the others though because they have put extra features on it making the whole process of bidding slightly more transparent, doesn’t look as much like a scam! Theres a security certificate as well which is really important for secure transactions. UK company registered and VAT registered. Might be worth a punt for those that care.
