absolutely agree-I love t in the park-been going since before they moved to balado but this is a laughable line up-absolutely the worst line up they have EVER had-very dissapointing. Will still be going for the crack with mates etc but other than muse/the stranglers and paolo nutini,I dont see anything there I am desperate to see.

according to the daily record this morning the organisers are DESPERATE to get cheryl cole to appear(that says it all really)

What a complete f'ing joke!

I was just about to say, 'well, least you can see some good acts on the smaller stages' then I read that this. GOD!

Stereophonics should be headlining rather than Kasabian.

Pretty average imo.. A few good'uns in there that I'd go see: Jay-Z, Muse, Dizzee Rascal, The Prodigy...

thing is,jeff ellis just has no imagination any more-of course when you can sell out 80 percent of the tickets the day after the previous years event without anyone knowing who is playing then why bother making the effort? how do hard rock calling come up with a coup like pearl jam? cos they put some effort in and make some phonecalls. next year ellis will just call all the "two year cycle" suspects so we will have primal scream/manic street preachers/the killers blah blah blah.

he needs to come up with a real big one which he could get if he spent the money but like I say,why bother when it was almost sold out without announcing anything?

Paolo Nutini=twat

now if hugh was still in the stranglers, there was a band:thumbsup:

agreed-saw them 7 times at the glasgow appollo and once at glasgow city halls when burnel kicked a bouncer in the head and then the crowd were invited to steal all the rented equipment onstage which they duly did!

Good point.

I say it will be kings of leon again next year.

Think I will stick to the smaller festivals: Cockermouth Rock festival 35 quid with camping and 7 stages. Bargain! (and you can take you own booze in!)
#12
T in the park died for me when the increased the capacity without any noticeable increase in venue size resulting in queues to get into the tents, sectioned off the front the main stage(banned drink from there as well) and got lazy booking the acts.

Its now just a cash cow filled with daft wee neds dying to see the streets and kids wanting to see the sugababes.

Seems like a couple of older people are disappointed.

It's a solid line-up with a nice mix of big names like Jay-Z, Muse and Eminem and a lot of smaller acts like Vampire Weekend, Florence, Empire, John Mayer, Cribs, Temper Trap and Wolfmother.

Can't see why people are moaning to be honest:?

In my 20s - I agree they've got some solid 'smaller' acts who I've seen most of recently.

Jay-Z proved he could headline a festival, Muse are always great, Eminem has a great back catalogue but I don't know what he's like now and Black Eyed Peas, for all their 'we are the worldness' are great live.

Black Eyed Peas should be everything I hate, but they're good live. Same with Coldplay - hate them. But I like them.:?

Jay-Z hasn't got to where he has by being poor live. I thought we got over this after Glasto:p

This;-)

Eminem won't mime.

It seems like a solid enough line-up considering it's location.

silly comment its Scotlands largest festival and is regarded as a top festival across the globe- location has nothing to do with it , it sells out every year normally same day as tickets go on sale

Obviously

Think T in the park should be the best festival in scotland, if not britain, but at half the price rockness is starting to look good now. lol
