I received a text today (1st may) from T-mobile telling me i would now be charged 40p per minute for 08 numbers and other similar numbers from the 1st of may (nice amount of notice there...)
Currently i am on the previous flext plan of £35 a month at the reduced cost of £31.50 and with 08 numbers costing me 20p per min to call so they are DOUBLING the cost to me.
They are trying to promote that you can swap onto their new flext plans which include the 08 numbers as free though currently for £31.50 i get £200 worth of calls and texts and the new £35 one gives only £175.
Now I remembered that when my 3 contract changed from per second billing to per minute I was able to cancel the contract and then was free to choose another from any company.
TBH I'm happy with my current contract and price but appalled at the doubling of the cost to me.
Customer services however have told me that the Tariff is NOT part of my contract and that basicly they are free to change all charges that occur outside of my contracted minutes at their whim.
Surely this can't be right?
When I agreed to the contract I was agreeing to the free inclusive minutes etc AND the tariff charges outside my "Free" usage.
Please help clarify this for me, Thankyou :D
