i found this info so im skeptical;

L-tyrosine is an amino acid - and the body uses many of these for many different purposes.

This particular amino acid is currently being hawked around the Internet as a treatment for anything from tanning to mood enhancement. While it is true that it is part of the pathway for the manufacture of many other things in the body I can find no evidence at all that these products can do what they claim.

It is basically like a food supplement - and is a food supplement likely to significantly produce a tan? Very unlikely.

Yours sincerely

What happened to sitting in the sun?

its dangerous, totally bad for you & i dont want skin cancer :-)

I burn easy & im very fair!

although with some tan tablets they say you need little sun light too, but these are supposed to help get a dark & deeper tan, I was just wondering if anyone had tried them?

Not if you take the right precautions. The sun is actually good for you and gives you lots of vitamins.

Also.........don't you think it might be bad for you putting some random non scientific herbal tablet wonder drug in your body?

so youre gonna take some tablets which dye your skin from the inside out

and you think sitting in the sun is dangerous...lol

Sun is good source to get Vitamin D,you need Vitamin D to help absorb calcium.

Waste of cash buying tanning tablets.

i am still amazed at some people who will ingest any medication/herb remedy that will make them look ?good / tanned , the body produces the exact same as you would take in the tabs , just not in same amount , as previous poster said the sun will give u all what u need as long as you are sensible in the sun , if u take the tabs you should be prepared for any side effects that come with them ie; kidney liver probs

This wasnt a debate it was a simple question has anyone tried these im not bothered about all the comments that are randomly off subject! assumptions like im going to take these tablets, I never said I was going to. It was merely a question which required an answer NOT a debate.

You know what they say about assumptions;

but I wont write it here!

The body creates everything that we supplement with pills, its no different it just increases that amount produced.

So basically your stating that you may aswell not take anything, including headache tablets as a natural remedy - it would just go away by itself.

Headache tablets don't make it go away, they just hide the pain, it is still there.

Do you want some slimming tablets, or maybe some hair growth tablets, or my new one, hair loss tablets that stops you needing to shave/wax. Problem is, none of them work. :thumbsup:
